I need help in my level (LBP)?

In my level a fire ball chases you, but if you die you will go back to the check point and the fire ball will be in the way of the next part of the level (making you trapped). I was wandering if there was any way of making the fire ball disappear and reappear at it's starting position once you die. Thanks for any comments posted.
