Why can babies have a quilt when they are 12 months old?

Yeh that should be fine, wrap him in it and place him in feet to foot position ie feet at the end of the bed so he doesnt swiggle underneath it. If he finds it hot im sure he will cry and tell you. 4tog is ok as that what i use for my baby. Hope he has a good night sleep so you can have a well earned rest
