What would you do in this awkward situation?? Plz help me?

Why are you leading "your friend" on when you claim you'll never have feelings for him, that's wrong. While your steady falling for this other dude, your hanging out with your friend everyday, holding his hand, and making him feel like he still has hope in getting with you, but yet you say never. First of all never say never, second of all if the dude you just met turns out to be a total jerk i bet you'll be running back to "your friend" then. Won't you? Yeah I thought so.
